Cuba

I went to Cuba in search of singers to bring to Japan for four nights, five days. It's an amazing place and has changed considerably since I was there ten years ago. My advice, go now before it opens up to America.

L.A.

No trip to LA is complete without a dinner with my great friend Michael Becker. This time he took me to an amazing Italian restaurant called La Terza which is one of the best I've been to in LA. We ate a huge dinner due to the fact that Becker knew the chef so he kept bringing plates of food.
ロスに行くからには僕の親友のマイケル・ベッカーとディナーをせずには居られない。早速、彼の一押しのイタリアン・レストラン「ラ・テルザ」に招待してもらった。ベッカーとシェフは知り合いで、次から次へと皿が持ち運ばれてきた。

My big goal this year is to get a film score, license my songs for film and TV, so I visited Warner's lot to meet the music department. Let's see what happens.
今年のゴールは映画やテレビへの音楽提供をメインに活動して行く事。なので今回、ワーナーの音楽部門チームに会って来た。

明けましておめでとうございます！２００８年の初ブログです。
I attended this year's keynote speech by Steve Jobs at the Macworld convention at the Moscone center in San Francisco on Jan 15th. This was a great keynote and I was really inspired by Steve's vision for Apple with the range of new services and products they introduced. It's amazing that Apple now believe we don't need an optical drive on our power books, that back up can now be done through wifi and that our movies can be rented through I-Tunes to be viewed on a range of products such as the wide screen TV through Apple TV, on your i-Pod, i-Phone on your lap top. What's even nicer is they allow you to start watching on one device and finish on another, all within 24 hours. My only wish is that the i-Tunes rental starts in Japan ASAP and we don't have to wait any longer like we did for the i-phone! Well done Apple!

１月１５日、サン・フランシスコのモスコーン・センターで行なわれたマックワールドでスティーブ・ジョブスの基本方針のスピーチを見に行って来た。今回の基本方針はとてもすばらしい。僕はスティーブのビジネスに対する見解と新しく発表したアップル・サービスや商品にすごく感銘を受けた。アップルは今、パワー・ブックには別のドライブが必要でないと信じている。すべてのバック・アップはワイファイを通して出来るようになった。あと、ラップ・トップ、i-Pod、i-Phone、アップル・テレビ等の商品で楽しめる映画をもうすぐi-Tunesでレンタル開始する。もっとすごいのは２４時間内にレンタルした物を一つのデバイスから見始め、違うデバイスで見終える事が出来るのだ。日本でも早くこのレンタルサービスを始めて欲しいと思う。アップルはすばらしい！
