Far Eastern Wind - Winter

syn records has recently released Tetsuya Komuro's latest work, Far Eastern Wind - Winter on iTunes. This is a really interesting project for TK as it's a million miles away from his J-Pop sound. It is in fact a series of four albums, each one inspired by a season and written for the famous Michelin star Fugu restaurant called Yamada-ya It's nice to see TK writing out of his usual comfort zone and showing his diverse talent. The follow up spring collection will be released soon.

小室哲哉の新作、Far Eastern Wind - Winter がシンレコードからiTunesよりリリースされました。今回のTKは普段のJ-POPと違う、新しいサウンドに挑戦している。今作は四季をイメージしたようで、ミシェランの三ツ星を獲得したフグの料理店、「山田屋」に捧げた４枚入りのシリーズ。いつもと違うジャンルの音楽でTKの幅広い才能を見せてくれてるのはすごくいいと思う。春のコレクションも乞うご期待。

The Macbook Air is finally here and it's absolutely amazing!
Gorgeous design, light, sexy and the best looking computer bar none.
The box is also lovely, very luxury like you'd expect from Hermes or
Valextra. I'm now about to transfer data from my mac book pro so I can
use the Air for travel and presentations around town effortlessly.
Well done Apple!

Travels

I've been traveling much more than usual in January and February, San Francisco, LA, Cuba and New York. Here's some photos from these travels.

I was invited to a really nice showcase for Devotchka in LA, the band who composed most of the soundtrack for Little Miss Sunshine.
